recipes
Dahl
The lentils can take quite a long time to cook; this isn’t a quick meal, but you can make a big batch. You can also save some of the curry paste.
Paneer a la Barney
This is Barney’s paneer recipe. His original idea was to get fried paneer with the mixed in taste of fresh cooked and uncooked coriander and spring onions. I think it’s evolved quite a bit

Marinade salmon (and maybe the vegetables) in:
- Soy sauce
- Honey
- Spring onions
- Chilli (optional)
- Ginger
- Capers (nice, but some may find too salty!)
- Black pepper

teaching
Undergraduate lab demonstrating
Undergraduate labs, Imperial College London, Department of Physics, 2018
Second year undergraduate lab demonstrations for computing (Python) and radioactivity experiment.
Volunteer tutor (A-levels)
Tutoring, Imperial College London, Department of Physics, 2020
Taught sixth form students via online video calls during 2020 coronavirus pandemic. This was part of the Blackett Academy initative to help disadvantaged students during the pandemic. I worked in small groups (up to five students) and helped minimise disruption of studies.
Course developer
Undergraduate labs, Imperial College London, Department of Physics, 2021
Designed Python worksheet for undergraduate course and contributed to departmental teaching strategy.
PhD supervisor
PhD supervisor, University of Bath, Department of Physics, 2023
Second supervisor of two PhD students.
